The Story of the Autograph
Jim Acker is a former right-handed relief pitcher in the major leagues. He spent ten seasons in the majors playing for the Toronto Blue Jays (twice), Atlanta Braves, and Seattle Mariners from 1983 to 1992.

Jim has always been a good signer. The one thing I never know is exactly how many cards he will sign each time. I think normally he is good for four in my experience. But I have seen him sign five at times. I always love his hieroglyphic-like signature. There’s a lot of character in there. I don’t think that all these cards give a good place to show it off the. The 1991 Upper Deck might be the best.
