The Story of the Autograph

Jason Frasor is a former right-handed starting reliever in the major leagues. He played in twelve seasons from 2004 to 2015 for the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, and Atlanta Braves.

Frasor is a native of Illinois. He was born and raised in the Chicago area and went to college at Southern Illinois University. The Tigers drafted him in the 33rd round of the 1999 MLB Draft. He was made into a reliever during his time in the minors and moved around a few times before he made it to the majors. While he stated with the Tigers he went to the Dodgers and then to the Blue Jays (for Jason Werth) and made his major league debut for Toronto on April 16, 2004.

His best season personally was probably in 2009 with Toronto. That year he went 7-3 with a 2.50 ERA in 61 games. But his best year with a team might have occurred right at the end of his career. In 2014 he was with the Kansas City Royals on their to the World Series. They would eventually lose to the Giants unfortunately. He was still with them in 2015 but was traded to the Braves and missed the Royals run to postseason glory.

I think what I like best about Jason’s signature he is how much of the card it takes up. I think this is a great example of what be the ideal size for a signature in my opinion. The style of the signature doesn’t have anything super special to make it standout, but the size to me shows an effort in itself. I think these are three cards that give a great shot at showing the signature off and the blue marker works great with them.

Thanks Mr. Frasor! I’m giving this return an 8 overall.
