The Story of the Autograph
Fred Stanley is a former shortstop in the major leagues. The two-time World Series winner played for the Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, and Oakland Athletics from 1969 to 1982.

The Score on Fred Stanley – 5.0
Fred almost has what I like to refer to as a “revolutionary” signature. By that I mean, you might find it looks like one on the Declaration of Independence or something like that. It doesn’t seem to come out that way every time, but it runs along those lines to me. I think my favorite of this bunch is the 1975 Topps card. Unfortunately some of these got a little bit rubbed off or smudged. Probably from the return envelope.
