The Story of the Autograph
Duffy Dyer is a former catcher in the major leagues. He played from 1968 to 1981 with the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Montreal Expos, and Detroit Tigers. He won a World Series with the Mets in 1969.

The Score on Duffy Dyer – 6.5
I finally got a Mets card of Duffy for him to sign. There are other guys like this that I wish I’ve had Mets cards for them to sign and I’m still looking for them. But the other thing about this return that I have to talk about is that it was a wet one. In the dangers of PWE mail, this one was soaked. I had to try to flatten them out a bit. But of course a Mets return has to get back in a downpour.
