The Story of the Autograph
Dennis Lamp is a former right-handed pitcher who worked as both a starter and a reliever over 16 seasons in the major leagues. From 1977 to 1992 he played for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Dennis comes through again with that fancy signature. I think this might be my first card from him in an A’s uniform. I always love to get guys for all of the teams they’ve played for. I know he’s played for the Pirates but I don’t think he had a card for them. His signature always comes out great but I think the best of these is that 1981 Fleer card. The image is so washing out it really helps the signature stick out.
