The Story of the Autograph
Brandon Finnegan is currently a starting pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds and prior to that the Kansas City Royals. To start his career he mostly made relief appearances, but since coming to the Reds he’s been a starter. Before finishing high school Finnegan was drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2011. He decided to go to school and went to college at TCU. Then he was drafted in 2014 by the Kansas City Royals.
He made it up to the majors that year and was the first from his draft class to be promoted. He pitched good enough to make it to the postseason roster make a few appearances. With his appearance in the 2014 World Series he became the first player to ever play in the College World Series and the World Series in the same year. But the next year the Royals would trade Finnegan to the Reds in the deal to get Johnny Cueto.
Finnegan started 31 games in 2016 with a 10-11 record, 145 Ks and a 3.98 ERA. In 2017 dealt with a shoulder injury that limited him to four starts and a 1-1 record.

I found Brandon’s home address on SCF and was able to sneak one out to him. He’s a very reliable signer from what I’ve seen. It seems like not only is he reliable in signing TTM, but he gives you a good quality signature. I only wish that he signed bigger on the card. That would go a long way for me in getting this to be an even better score. That said, I hope I find more cards of his so I can send to him again.
