The Story of the Autograph
Bill Sampen is a former right-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He worked mostly as a reliever from 1990 to 1994 with the Montreal Expos, Kansas City Royals, and California Angels.

The Score on Bill Sampen – 6.0
Bill is a guy with a pretty small signature. It reminds me of guys like Tony La Russa and Phil Garner and the way they sign. Like La Russa, he also tries to find the best place to sign the card. I think in general that’s good but it can also make things a little odd like on the 1990 Fleer card. I think the 1991 Upper Deck card is my favorite of this lot.
