The Story of the Autograph

Ron Cey is a former first baseman in the major leagues. He played for the Dodgers, Cubs, and Athletics over a seventeen year career that lasted from 1971 through 1987. He was nicknamed “The Penguin” by his college coach for the slow, waddling run he had.

This is my fourth return from Cey. To find out more about him and to see the other success, check out these posts:

Ron’s been a guy would would consistently sign one of your cards without a charge. It looks like he’s starting to charge at this point though which it seems like more and more people are doing. I actually think a lot of requests have gone up with the pandemic and people being home. And when you are a reliable signer you can be sure to get hit up for more requests.

Thanks Mr. Cey! I’m giving this return an 8.0.

Best signer out there — even if he charges now!

I can’t find the paper he sent back with the card, but I think it was $15 per.

          Thanks,

Do you know if he might sign smaller items like mini bobbleheads or mini bats?

I’m not sure. I don’t remember what I got being a price list, but I feel like he worked through someone who probably has all that defined. I don’t think it’s out of the question, but I haven’t seen people normally getting that stuff signed from him. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t do it though.
