The Story of the Autograph
Ed Ott is a former major league catcher. He played from 1974 to 1980 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, winning a World Series Championship with them in 1979, and then with the California Angels in 1980.
This is my second successful return from him. To find out more about Ed, and to see the first success, check out my post from September 2018.

These came out pretty good from Ed, but I am most ecstatic about getting him in these great Pirates uniforms of the past. The striped uniform has always been so crazy to me while the all-yellow uniform (and helmet) seems like a “Player’s Weekend” style well before it’s time. Unfortunately the signatures get a little buried in the business of the images though.
