The world seems like it’s completely crazy right now. But at the same time if you are “quarantined” or at a minimum “distanced” from others voluntarily (or not) then you are kind of forced to slow down. It’s a super odd mix of feelings to have to deal with.
In the position I have where I work it’s been a bit nuts. Luckily I can do my job from home. There’s actually very little that I have to go into an office for but that isn’t the same for all of my employees. Most of us where I work are working from home most of the time at this point.
But I know not everyone out there is able to do that. That either means some people might be doing things that might make them feel uncomfortable, concerned or stressed. And other might not be able to do anything at all. I just hope that we can all look out for each other and be considerate of each other so we can get through this.
I hope any time you spend on my blog takes you away from stress or whatever, even if just for a minute.
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Sunday: John Rade
- Monday: Perry Williams
- Tuesday: Tim Grunhard, Luis Castillo
- Wednesday: John Offerdahl, Mike Minor
- Thursday: Matt Keough, Card Show Review – March 7, 2020
- Friday: Keenan McCardell, Nate Jones
- Saturday: David Klingler
Luckily even in a crazy week I was able to find time to get out second posts around the days that I got current player returns from Spring Training. Still, it’s been super light and given what happened last week, it doesn’t feel like that’s going to get better.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Muster up the courage…
- Tuesday: Here Kittle, Kittle, Kittle…
- Wednesday: Nieds and wants…
- Thursday: Does he have a Space Center?
- Friday: Clines that mountain…
- Saturday: Chip and…
- Sunday: Sear sucker suit…
Let’s see if you can do anything with those. Some of those are super obvious.
Other Notes
The backlog is at 115 so it’s continuing to go up. I had some all or nothing days this week with one day of six returns and then some ones and zeroes.
One of the things I heard brought up is if the coronavirus is going to change TTMing. You have to think it is. I think its a matter of to what extent. Is anything you send out now going to get ignored? Will people not care? Or the crazier one even though they say it won’t stop is, will the mail deliver actually change?
I think that after all of the anthrax scare the USPS wears gloves now. So I don’t know if that helps keep them safe in all this. And then I don’t know the time the virus can survive if on the mail. But they obviously want to keep the mail machines running.
Please have a safe week!
