Oh my gosh, I’m actually home for more than 48 hours!
I’m still in the middle of travelling a lot for work and I have to go back again in the middle of the week. But I’m home for a few days and I’m getting to relax with some cards stuff. I’m also getting to watch some baseball which is also nice. It was great to be following along on a second monitor at work. And it was even better to be watching at home while sorting cards.
Yesterday I had some quality time with my cardboard and got through a lot of sorting and some logistics for sending out new TTM requests. So I’m in a good spot there. Now I just need to catch up with some blog stuff.
But what I’m really excited about today is that I think I’m going to be able to spend time enjoying the Ryan’s Vintage Card purchases I got from the last time he did a sale. So excited to dig in there!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Kurt Stillwell
- Tuesday: Bob Tewksbury, Charlie Hough
- Wednesday: Mike Smithson
- Thursday: Tim Naehring
- Friday: Greg A. Harris
- Saturday: Pete O’Brien
- Sunday: Dion James
I missed a #twofortuesday theme opportunity last week. I could have used both Greg A. Harris and Pete O’Brien for a Rangers theme. I think lately I’ve just been trying to keep up so I’m missing some things. Last week was definitely full (except for one day with Greg A. Harris) of guys who I have received multiple returns for. In some cases, more than just a couple.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Into the Wood…
- Tuesday: Friend of Squiggy…
- Tuesday: Ro Ro…
- Wednesday: Mark my words…
- Thursday: Teach me how to Dougie…
- Friday: Big Ben…
- Saturday: Rudy, Rudy, Rudy…
- Sunday: Mmahat, that’s good…
I am not missing an opportunity for a #twofortuesday theme this time around. That said, I have to follow through when I actually post. Tuesday will be full of Dodgers this time around.
Other Notes
After a really disappointing week of nine returns, this was a bit of a return to normal. I got back 17 successful returns and two failures. It was a pretty good close to the month. If I had just had a better week in that one week March would have been right where I wanted to get back to after a little slower February.
The two failures I got back were from Doug Dascenzo and Jeff Heathcock on the same day. I think Doug has a new address posted on SCF that I will try. Jeff on the other hand doesn’t appear to. There were no stragglers this week. And lastly I got back two paid returns from Dave Kingman and Juan Berenguer.
The Recent TTM Success page is updated.
Have a great week!
