The Story of the Autograph
Tippy Martinez (whose real name is Felix Anthony Martinez) is a former major league relief pitcher. He played from 1974 to 1988 with the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, and Minnesota Twins.

Tippy has a kind of flowing autograph that really start off with the way he writes is his “T”. He kind of starts it out with a loop instead of crossing two lines. I think from the the little hooks on the “y”, the “M” and sometimes the “z” have give it a repeatable element that looks cool.
