Review / Preview – Week of 4/29

TTM Review Preview

It’s a really awesome Spring day here in Northern Virginia today. It didn’t start out that way as it was really foggy and misty on my walk early this morning. But there’s sun shining down and I think the pollen is a bit less because of some rain yesterday… wins all around!

Unfortunately I didn’t see much winning for all of my teams this weekend. I’m hoping the Mets and the Knicks turn things around, then I hope that the Rangers keep it up. But even though its a nice day outside, I’ll probably be hanging out watching the games… but I’ll open up the windows!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

Nothing special for the #twofortuesday this week. It was was a week of virtually all baseball, which I feel like I’ve avoided mostly in recent weeks at least.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Send it in Jerome…
  • Tuesday: Daaaaa-rrell, Daaaaa-rrell…
  • Tuesday: Campen ground…
  • Wednesday: What the Heck…
  • Thursday: Horton hears a Who…
  • Friday: Hot Coles…
  • Saturday: The Bruce is loose…
  • Sunday: Ellard, Ellard, Ellard, eh, eh, eh, under my um-Ellard…

The theme #twofortuesday this week is about The Pack. I’ve got two Green Bay Packers that came up on the list. Surprising because I don’t normally get a lot of football in the backlog so seeing something I could pair up was nice.

Other Notes

OK so this week finally edged a bit to what I would call slow. I got back 13 returns but one of them was a failure. I’m sending out about 18 a week (three per mail day) so that’s not too bad but it’s definitely the lowest number I’ve had in a little while.

The failure, from Joe Reekie, was my first since 3/21 so going a month between is pretty great. I think I found a new address for Joe so I am going to try that and maybe I can turn the failure into a success. I didn’t get back any paid returns and there was only one straggler. That was Keith Miller after 388 days.

The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.

Have a great week!
