The Story of the Autograph
Jim Barr is a former right-handed starting pitcher in the major leagues. HE played from 1971 to 1983 with the San Francisco Giants (in two stints) and the California Angels.

While towards the smaller side, I’ve always enjoyed Jim’s signature. His “J” is so different. It almost appears more like an “X” and that it’s crossing out his first name. That one letter tends to give it a zig-zaggy feel. I think my favorite of these is the ’73 Topps, but that’s also partly because it’s one of my favorite designs.
