The Story of the Autograph
This is the second return, and the second Spring Training return at that, I’ve received from Jerad Eickhoff. For more about Jerad and to see that return, head to my post from last March.
I saw a couple games where he pitched against the Mets in his first year and I think he faced Matt Harvey in at least one of them. I remember thinking then that he and Harvey might be seeing a lot of each other as NL East opponents over the coming years. But injuries have really gotten in the way of both of their careers.
He has a chance to bring it back around with a good Phillies lineup behind him. If there was any year to make a comeback, this would be it.
The Score on Jerad Eickhoff – 6.0
Last time Jerad only signed one card and this time he signed both. Definitely appreciate that. Not that I mind when a guy chooses to sign one at a time, but I appreciate it more the next time if I get both back. He has a bit of a messy signature, but it’s in a great spot on the base card for it to really be seen.
