The Story of the Autograph
Garrett Cooper is a current major league first baseman and outfielder who plays for the Miami Marlins. He previously played for the New York Yankees.
Cooper was born and raised in California. He went to high school in Los Angeles and then went on to El Camino College and Auburn University. He closed out his college career with a great year in 2013 and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the sixth round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He never made it to the majors with the Brewers though.
In 2017 he was traded to the Yankees in exchange for Tyler Webb. He debuted for the Yankees on July 14, 2017 against the Red Sox and got his first career hit two days later. He only played 13 games that first season and had most of his time in the minors. The Yankees then traded him with Caleb Smith to the Marlins for Michael King.
2019 was his first year with a good amount of games in the majors with 107. He put up a .281 average with 15 homers and 50 RBI, spending time at first and in the outfield. He played well again in the short season of 2020 and in 2021 he gotten off to a slower start.

I don’t think I expected this to come back at all, but it did after a year. Garrett looks like he spends more time and energy with his first name and kind of just includes a “C” for his last name. The Allen & Ginter is really nice and the signature really shows off well.
