The Story of the Autograph
This is my second successful return from Doug Jones. To check out my first success go to my post from January 2018.
The Score on Doug Jones – 7.0
This was a success after a failure for Doug. I think I tried to send to a team address the last time so maybe that was my problem. Anyway, I reverified it and tried again.
This time the mistake I made was sending another 1989 Topps card, his Record Breaker card. He actually return it with a note that it’s Chris Codiroli pictured on the card. You can see the numbers and while they both have ‘staches, it’s not Doug. I imagine he gets it a lot and is familiar with the card.
Doug has such a pretty signature all the time though. I think I have him on “better” cards to take his signature though, but I love that ’88 Score card.
