The Story of the Autograph
Alan Bannister is a former infielder and outfielder in the major leagues. His career spanned from 1974 to 1985 and during that time he played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers.

The Score on Alan Bannister – 6.5
Alan almost is on the verge of having two styles in his signature. Some of these seem to focus more on his first name than his last. I think the best example there is the Topps Senior League card. You can see his last name is mostly “B” and then crossing his “t”. Others in this bunch almost look like he was writing a “J” instead of his “A”, like the 1982 Fleer card.
