The Story of the Autograph
Rick Cerone is a former catcher in the major leagues. He played from 1975 to 1992 with the Cleveland Indians, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees (three times), Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, and Montreal Expos.

Rick signs just one card at a time and he always signs vertically. Sometimes he’ll try and put his signature in a blank spot, but not all the time – like on this one where he signed over himself. I was trying to get Rick to sign a card from each team that he was on (not that he has a card for each one) but in this case I already have him on a Yankees card.
