Review / Preview – Week of 6/17

TTM Review Preview

I was able to take a little PTO at the end of the week. We took a trip to visit some family on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We got to the beach, the boardwalk in Ocean City, and then just spent some time with family. The beach isn’t always my thing but it was a beautiful day.

I woke up early both days I was there to catch a sunrise and take some pictures. It was pretty cool with the marsh and the egrets and all that. Plus my youngest actually woke up early enough to go with me the second day and take some pictures too. It was definitely good to have a partner in crime for once.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week! Happy Father’s Day!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

The #twofortuesday last week was all Chicago. I had a couple ways I could have gone with that because I had two Cubs, but I went with a general #windycity theme and had a Cub and a White Sox player. I could have also done something with the Rangers because I had two of them last week too.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Bri guy…
  • Tuesday: X Marks the spot…
  • Tuesday: Netflix and Chilcutt…
  • Wednesday: Runnin’ up that Hill…
  • Thursday: There’s a Glynn-t in his eye…
  • Friday: A Kern-el of truth…
  • Saturday: Ear Kerr-dling…
  • Sunday: Ring that Bell…

There’s no #twofortuesday theme this week. It’s all a bit random what came up in the back of the backlog.

Other Notes

This was a pretty good week of returns. I got back 17 total which is a bit more than I have been getting. Only one of them was a failure. It would have been a success but it was an envelope that was stamped up by the USPS as coming back that way. It was a return from Isaiah Rider and I know that because he had put his foundation’s sticker on the return address. But the envelop was empty. I don’t know why that didn’t get the “we care” baggie.

Other than that I got back two pretty big stragglers. Bubby Brister came back after 1,915 days and Tim Foli came back after 1,268 days – both of them came back on the same day. I also got Joe Sacco after 220 days. Joe was also my one retun from a team. I also got back Luis Tiant and Neal Heaton as far as paid returns.

The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.

Have a great week!
