This is a huge sports weekend – at least for my interests… Knicks in the playoffs, Mets playing the Dodgers, last weekend of the Premier League, Monaco, Indy… so much to watch.
The good part is that for the most part things don’t overlap except for maybe the Mets and the Knicks. I’m really loving the racing though. Over the last decade or so I’ve become a pretty big F1 fan. And while I am not an Indy Car fan, I do like watching the big racing and there’s been a little drama this year.
What are you looking forward to sports-wise this year?
I hope everyone is enjoyed their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Eric Gunderson
- Tuesday: John Montague, Andy Kosco
- Wednesday: Storm Davis
- Thursday: Dan Fouts
- Friday: Martin Biron
- Saturday: Jeff Wright
- Sunday: Marty Bystrom
There was no #twofortuesday posts last week. I was just getting through a bunch of the oldest stuff in the backlog.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: A good Skier…
- Tuesday: You da Manny…
- Tuesday: The cable guy…
- Wednesday: Give him a Pettini…
- Thursday: Stevie B…
- Friday: Sup Holmes…
- Saturday: Slim Jimmy…
- Sunday: Oh Romero, Romero…
I have two options for the #twofortuesday theme this coming week. I chose to go with the one that came up first in the list naturally in the backlog order.
Other Notes
This was a much better week than last week. I got back 19 returns. Two of those were failures but at least one of those I sent back out. The two failures were Jim Acker and Rich Gossage. I didn’t think I had bad addresses for either of those so I am not sure of why they actually came back. Both I’ve seen recent returns on.
As for other interesting things from this week in the returns. I got back a paid return from Jack McDowell who also sent back two signed CDs – pretty cool. My only straggler this week was from Bill Guerin who was also a team return as I sent to him with the Wild. That came back after 558 days. The other team return I got this week was from Danny Ainge who I had a previous failure from, so good to get that one back.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
