So I am officially an old man… I’m going to talk / complain about the weather.
I just wish the weather was a bit more “Springy” around here. It still feels like we have March hanging around with how chilly it’s been. But unfortunately this week we’ve definitely had the April Showers part of the deal. I say all that knowing that not too long from now I will be complaining about the heat.
I’ve definitely noticed the cold in watching some baseball. It’s definitely been cold in New York while I watch my Mets. While they get a bit of a break in Sacramento this weekend, I think Minnesota is on the docket next.
I hope everyone is enjoyed their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Bobby Witt
- Tuesday: Tim Bogar, Gerald Young
- Wednesday: Ruben Amaro Jr.
- Thursday: Mike Munoz
- Friday: Dave Duncan
- Saturday: Paul Mitchell
- Sunday: Toby Harrah
Another #twofortuesday theme last week but I didn’t really point it out in the posts. It was all Houston, but I also realized late in the week that it could have been all Oakland.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

There’s another #twofortuesday theme on tap for this week. We’re headed to the Steel City for some Yinzer posts.
Other Notes
This was a very good week, especially right at the end. I got back 20 returns this week with 19 successes and one failure. I got back half of those returns on Saturday with 9 successes and that one failure. The failure was from Al Shirley and a bit of a flyer.
As for stragglers, just one from Luke Scott after 369 days out. I also got back a paid return from Steve Sax.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
