Review / Preview – Week of 12/9

TTM Review Preview

Card show weekend everyone!

I hadn’t been to a local card show in a while and I just happened to be looking around and saw that the one I like to go to was scheduled for this weekend. I found my favorite guy who has the .10, .25, .50 cent boxes of old stuff and I started digging. I got a ton of football and baseball that I hope to get out in the next several weeks.

Another great part is that I met my college kid there with some friends. They aren’t looking for sports stuff but they are into Pokemon. I think the three of them had a good time and picked up some pretty good stuff. I’m not a Pokemon guy so I don’t know for sure… but in the end, if they are happy then who cares – I am happy for them!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

No theme for the #twofortuesday last week. I’ve been a little short on themes lately because nothing has been coming up in the back log.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Stevens not Steven’s…
  • Tuesday: So Farr away…
  • Tuesday: Look who’s Komminsk for dinner…
  • Wednesday: Miked up…
  • Thursday: Sweet Luis…
  • Friday: Ahoy Hoiles…
  • Saturday: Hammond cheese…
  • Sunday: Steven is my name…

Again there’s no #twofortuesday theme this week. Still just getting back through the backlog.

Other Notes

This was an OK week of returns, not a great week like the week prior, but at least a week that keeps pace with the number of cards I sent out. I got back 17 returns and 15 of them were successful. The failures were from Winston Garland and Domingo Jean. I thought I had the right address for Domingo and I might try him again. Others have been getting successes so not sure what I did wrong.

I didn’t have any stragglers this week but I did get back two paid returns. Gerry Arrigo was just a $1 and then Cecil Fielder was $5 per card.

The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.

Have a great week!
