Review / Preview – Week of 12/16

TTM Review Preview

After a fun card show weekend, last weekend… this weekend has been filled with organizing, and re-organizing and all things of that sort.

Going through my boxes of cards I’ve picked out for TTM attempts is always fun. But there’s a point that it feels like work so I try to break it up little by little throughout a week. I sort my stuff for TTMs by letter and player and it gets very hard when you get into the letters that have the most, especially further down in the alphabet… M, R, S, etc..

But I loaded things up for some new requests that will hopefully be successes in the future.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

Again, there was no theme for the #twofortuesday last week. Nothing has really been coming up. Two things about this week though. First, I started two weeks in a row with a Penguin. Second, I meant to post Steve Farr on his birthday and forgot and did it earlier. Anyway – Happy Birthday Steve!

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Like, Gross me out…
  • Tuesday: It’s the Plummer…
  • Tuesday: You Cotto be…
  • Wednesday: Zisk, Zisk, Zisk…
  • Thursday: Breuer Crew…
  • Friday: Rabb-id…
  • Saturday: I love a Boccabella pizza…
  • Sunday: Dinner with Andre…

Again there’s no #twofortuesday theme this week. Going back through the backlog as it comes up. But that means things can get pretty eclectic.

Other Notes

This was another pretty good week of returns for me. I got back 18 returns and all were successes. Unlike a lot of other recent weeks there were some pretty good stragglers. Tim Foli (348 days), Craig McMurtry (251 days), and Luke Richardson (237) were all pretty good in that regard. But Kevin Plawecki takes the cake. He returned after 1291 days! I sent something to him while he was with the Red Sox in 20021.

Other than that there were no paid returns or anything like that. Plawecki and Richardson were both things I sent to team addresses.

The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.

Have a great week!
