I went to the Syracuse v. Georgetown game yesterday and it really brought me back. While I’ve never got to see an 80’s or 90’s Big East match up live and in-person, I could still feel what it was like through the TV in those days. The atmosphere in each arena for all different matchups were just insane. Yesterday it felt like that was brought back – even if just a little.
First, the Syracuse jerseys were orange with the script Syracuse across the front – CLASSIC! It was great to see those. Second, the Syracuse fans were out in full force. It was a good 50/50 crowd, but you didn’t always feel that at times in the game. You could see folks in orange getting more behind the team as the game went on the the victory was certain.
Georgetown hung in there for a while but ultimately people were leaving a bit early. Syracuse had it hanging around 8-12 for a while. Georgetown could keep up again at some point, but really never could make up the deficit. They were not a really good shooting team at all yesterday, especially from three. That led to a lot of one and done’s.
I loved it and I wasn’t rooting for either team really. It was a great game to go to. I will say that after reading an article about Coach Cooley at Georgetown and then seeing the game, I’m rooting for him to bring the Hoyas back. It’s definitely good to see the Hoyas strong locally.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Other Notes
Another pretty slow week. I got twelve returns back this week which matched my successes from last week. Except this week one of those was a failure. So twelve returns but only eleven success.
Scott McGregor was the failure. That seemed a bit odd to me because he’s been at the address I have forever. But I saw some others getting things RTS from him as well. There was a new address on SCF so I’m giving it a try.
I only got one straggler back this week. That was from Jim Eppard at 287 days. I didn’t get any paid returns back this week.
But I also got two mail days of cards. One from @CardsFromAttic and the other from @WaxPack916. Both were chock full of cards that I can add to my TTM boxes.
The Recent TTM Success page is updated.
Have a great week!
