I had another week of not too much going on. That included returns, but more about that later.
The good thing for me is that I found a time to get a little ahead on the blog. Hopefully that means more time for some other things. I was also able to do a little bit of a refresh on my upcoming attempts. I’ve been putting less cards in the attempts so that means getting a little less back. Hopefully that will turn around in the coming weeks.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Mike Gminski
- Tuesday: Ron Tingley, Balor Moore
- Wednesday: Doug Rader
- Thursday: Oddibe McDowell
- Friday: Bill Laskey
- Saturday: Dave McKay
- Sunday: Skeeter Barnes
The Angels filled up the #twofortuesday posts this week. But if you actually read and pay attention to these “Review / Preview” posts (which I kind of doubt a lot do, but that’s OK), I kind of messed up. I wasn’t supposed to start the week with Mike Gminski but I messed up because I had gotten a week ahead in posts and started with the wrong week. No big deal really, but oopsie!
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Glengarry Glen Wesley…
- Tuesday: Home on the Granger…
- Tuesday: Yes and Nolan…
- Wednesday: Bailes of hay…
- Thursday: Frank and file…
- Friday: Don’t go out without a Mallicoat…
- Saturday: Guuuuz…
- Sunday: Xs and Osteens…
I was able to pick out another #twofortuesday theme for next week. This time around it will be all for the Reds and Big Red Machine members!
Other Notes
This was definitely not a great week for returns. Not only was the total low, but I also had three failures. I even saw two of those on one day which is really not normal. I got 13 returns back but with the three failures that only means ten successful returns. Not good.
The failures were from Bill Almon, Charlie Spikes, and John Rabb. Rabb I think has had some failures lately based on what I am seeing. But the Almon and Spikes failures didn’t necessarily make sense to me based on what I saw on SCF. So I decided to just send those back out. As for other things I look at, I did get a good straggler. James Edwards sent one back after 968 days – so pretty much going on three years away.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
