This was a really odd week for mail. I know I am not the only one that experienced all of that because I saw stuff on X from others. But it was a pain in the but.
The snowstorm came on Sunday night. It was almost expected that we wouldn’t get mail on Monday as the snow went all through that day and into Tuesday. But that kind of goes against the old USPS motto (though unofficial) of “neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” Yeah, that didn’t happen.
No mail delivery Monday. No mail Delivery Tuesday. No mail delivery (oddly) on Thursday. And I know because no one is picking up the mail for those days. It just gets really frustrating, and I get it for some of those days.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Paul Gruber
- Tuesday: Ray Berry, Scott Leius
- Wednesday: Phil Regan
- Thursday: Stanley Roberts
- Friday: Todd Zeile
- Saturday: Dal Maxvill
- Sunday: Kurt Miller
It was almost all baseball this week with some football and basketball mixed in. I forgot to call it out on the day, but there was a theme to the #twofortuesday this week. It was all Minnesota with Vikings and Twins posts that day.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Capt Morgan…
- Tuesday: GA…
- Tuesday: Jay bird…
- Wednesday: Burns after reading…
- Thursday: Howe does he do it…
- Friday: Scott free…
- Saturday: What the Halicki…
- Sunday: The Mendoza line…
No #twofortuesday theme this week. Just continuing through the oldest in the backlog as usual.
Other Notes
I know I complained about how the mail came in, or rather that it didn’t come in, but in the end it was a good week. I had 17 total returns and one of those was a failure.
The failure came from Kelly Stinnett and I’ve already gotten that back out to a different address. As I looked at it on SCF I am not sure how I didn’t use that address to start… dumb on my part. Other than that there were any stragglers, paid returns, or anything like that.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
