Something I wanted to get into this year was expanding on the idea of my monthly reviews and get into something weekly. This isn’t meant to be full of metrics and details like that because there is no way I could get my act together to get that done. What I hope to accomplish is a review of what I happened last week for any regular reader who wanted to catch up in one place, and then hopefully something fun.
My backlog of recent returns is currently at 78. With posting only one success a day I have enough for almost three months of my daily posts. And with my goals being for even more returns this year, I hope that backlog doesn’t go down. I might do something to catch up with it a little bit though.
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Sunday: Chris Zorich
- Monday: Ron Kittle, My Best Nine for 2019
- Tuesday: Floyd Bannister
- Wednesday: Dane Iorg
- Thursday: Tom Grieve, 2019 Year-in-Review Special
- Friday: Mark Price
- Saturday: Roger Erickson
Reviews of last year were a big part of my posts from the prior 12 days, let alone last week. While 2019 was a good year, 2020 is shaping up to be better already. But of course,… famous last words and all… watch things go downhill now that I said that.
The Preview
How about something fun? Here’s what’s on top for this week:
- Monday: Glasses and a ‘stache like a champ…
- Tuesday: A Slam Dunk Champion…
- Wednesday: One of the best signatures is the TTM game…
- Thursday: Tidewater Boy…
- Friday: Ute might have trouble spelling his last name…
- Saturday: Not Arlo but…
- Sunday: An Early UConn hero…
Does anyone have any guesses? I’m not telling you I can write Jeopardy questions or anything like that. But I think if you know guys that TTM, and you know some sportsball, you might be able to guess a few. Some will admittedly be almost impossible. I just hope it’s fun.
Other Notes
As I said, I’m 78 deep in backlog. I’ll probably keep a tally of that here. I have a few things I’m lining up for something other than TTM posts. There will definitely be some older boxes opened, a look into other parts of my collection, and I have a series of posts lined up that I hope to make last through each week of the baseball season.
My next thing is to get ready for 2020 Topps Series 1 and get ready for what I’m going to send out for Spring Training. I think what I’ll do with any Spring Training success is post it the next day so that everyone gets an idea of what is coming back real-time for that.
Hope you have a great week!
