The Story of the Autograph
Reggie Langhorne played wide receiver in the NFL from 1985 through 1993. He played with the Browns and the Colts. Reggie was born in Virginia and went to school at Elizabeth City State University which is a Division II school and a HBC located in North Carolina.
The Browns drafted Langhorne with the 175th overall pick in the 7th round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played with the Browns in the days of Webster Slaughter, Brian Brennan and later Eric Metcalf and split time with all of them at the slot receiver position. His best season as a Brown was 1988 when he caught 57 passes for 780 yards and caught seven touchdown passes. He also rushed for 26 yards and a touchdown that year.
He would have some OK follow up season after that with the Browns but then moved on to the Colts. With the Colts his numbers jumped. In 1992 he broke the 800+ yard mark and then in 1993 he caught 85 balls for 1,038 yards and three touchdowns. But after that year the Colts cut a lot of veteran players. Langhorne was ready to resign anyway and said he needed a break from the game.
The Score on Reggie Langhorne – 6.0
Reggie has a pretty good signature but again the marker looks a bit weak on the cards I used an eraser on. If I don’t use it they get smudged and if I do it makes the marker go weak. I think this is still better. I think the Pro Set Platinum card came out the best of the lot.
Thanks Mr. Langhorne! These get a 6.
