The Story of the Autograph
Merril Hoge is a former running back in the NFL. The Idaho State alum played from 1987 to 1994 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears.

Merril has a bit of fancy to his signature doesn’t he? He’s got some loops and he’s got an underline and everything. I’m not exactly sure what the loops are making up, but I like it. One thing I noticed different with this return that with the previous is that he signed in blue. I think I like the black better given these are Steelers black and yellow themed. I guess the black could be hidden more but I think it works better.
