The Story of the Autograph
Kevin Romine is a former outfielder in the major leagues. He spent his entire seven-year career with the Boston Red Sox (1985-1991).
Romine was born and raised in New Hampshire. He went on to Arizona State where he was an All-American while playing for the Sun Devils. The Red Sox selected him in the second round of the 1982 MLB Draft. Three years later he made his major league debut on September 9, 1985.
The vast majority of his career he was a back up and spent plenty of time in the minors. The peak of his playing time was 1989 when he made it into 92 games and had 300+ plate appearances. He got into another 70 games the next year but with only 151 plate appearances.
After retiring from baseball Romine went on to become a police detective. His sons, Andrew and Austin, both have played in the majors and play in the Phillies and Yankees organizations respectively.

Kevin has a classic “big initials, small everything else” type of signature which I tend to like. I mostly like how he uses that to do a pretty good job filling up the cards. Luckily only one of these has the blue on dark blue problem but the others came out great.
