The Story of the Autograph
John Beck is a former quarter back in the NFL and CFL. He played from 2007 to 2015 with the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins, Houston Texas and BC Lions.
Beck was born in California and raised in Arizona. He helped his team to the state championship in football as a senior in high school and then went on to attend BYU. He would be a second-team All-American and the MWC Offensive Player of the Year in 2006. In 2007 the Miami Dolphins made him the 40th overall pick in the second round of the NFL Draft.
He started as the third string quarterback but after going 0-8 to start the season the Dolphins had nothing to lose and Beck got the call by week 11 against the Eagles. He would be back to third string by the next season though because the team drafted Chad Henne and signed Chad Pennington. He moved on to the Ravens in 2009 and remained a backup.
He moved onto the Redskins in 2010 and finally made another appearance after not playing since his rookie season. Funny enough it was against the Eagles. He moved on to the Texans to end his NFL career. He was the backup for the BC Lions in the CFL before calling it quits.

John may not really have played much in a surprising NFL career for someone who played so little, but he sure has a great autograph. The loops on the “J” and especially the “B” are so fun. These cards really show the autograph off well too.
