The Story of the Autograph
Joe Moeller is a former right-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He played during eight seasons from 1962 to 1971, all for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Moeller was born in Illinois and raised in California. He was signed by the Dodgers as an amateur free agent before the 1960 season. When he made his debut on April 12, 1962 he was one of the youngest starting pitchers in Dodgers history at 19 years old.
He pitched in 19 games with 15 starts that first season and put up a 6-5 record with a 5.25 ERA. But he wouldn’t appear again in the majors until 1964. That season he started 24 of 27 games and went 7-13 with a 4.21 ERA. But it was back to the minors again until 1966.
When he came back to the majors he was primarily a relief pitcher. Only in 1970 did he get more significant starts during the season. He did appear in the postseason in 1966 in the series again the Orioles.

Joe has a bit of an old man signature which is certainly understandable. I say that because it’s a bit wiggly. I like that it’s basically all connected with each other. I actually like that the card I sent was pretty beat up.
