The Story of the Autograph
Garin Veris played at the defensive end position during is eight years in the NFL. He spent his first seven years in New England with the Patriots and is final year was in San Francisco with the 49ers.
Veris was born and raised in Ohio. He played offense and defense on his high school team as well as playing basketball and participating in throwing events in track (in which he won state titles for). He went on to Stanford where he had a great career and was inducted into their Hall of Fame. The Patriots drafted him in the second round of the 1985 NFL Draft wit the 48th overall pick.
He had a great rookie season in 1985. He recorded 10 sacks and made the 1985 NFL All-Rookie Team as the Patriots made their way to Super Bowl XX. He would have 11 sacks the next year to follow it up. After that his totals declined due to injuries and the player’s strike impacting the amount of games he played. He finished his career with one year in San Francisco in 1992.

I like Garin’s autograph because it’s pretty big and it’s nice and clean. You can certainly tell that it’s his name. A good capital “G” is always nice to see. Garis has a stacked autograph and I think that works with his first and last names being the same length. Overall a great signature that came out pretty well on these cards.
