The Story of the Autograph
Curtis Duncan is a former wide receiver in the NFL. He played in the league for seven years and spent his entire career with the Houston Oilers (1987 – 1993).
Duncan went to college at Northwestern and was drafted by the Oilers in the tenth round with the 258th overall pick in 1987. That was a great time to be part of a great offense as the Oilers ran the “run and shoot” those days. He joined Ernest Givins, Haywood Jeffries and Drew Hill for their receiving corps. And any receivers are going to thrive with Warren Moon running the show at quarterback.
In 1990 Duncan started becoming a much bigger part of the offense as he started all 16 games. But it was 1992 when he had his best year. That year he had 82 receptions for 954 yards (career highs) and one touchdown. That was good enough to earn him his one and only Pro Bowl appearance.
The Score on Curtis Duncan – 7.5
Curtis really does a great job filling up the card. He has a really clean autograph and he used a great marker on these. My favorite of these is the 1992 Pro Set card. While that isn’t the best picture of the bunch, it might be the design I like the best.
Thanks Mr. Duncan! I’m giving this return a 7.5.
