The Story of the Autograph
Brad Muster is a former running back in the National Football League. His career lasted seven seasons from 1988 through 1994 and he played for the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints.
Muster was born and raised in Novato, California. He attended Stanford University, graduating in 1988. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 23rd overall pick of the 1988 NFL Draft. While he came in as a running back he was primarily used in a fullback role. In those days that mean leading the way for Neal Anderson.
While in Chicago his most productive year was 1990 when he put up a bunch of career highs. He rushed for 664 yerds on 141 carries and scored six rushing touchdowns. He also caught 47 passes for 452 yards. While he set a career high that year for rushing touchdowns, his total touchdowns career high was in 1989 when he had eight.
After five seasons with the Bears Muster moved on to the Saints in free agency. Funnily enough he replaced Craig Heyward who went to the Bears. He played two seasons with the Saints before retiring.
The Score on Brad Muster – 5.5
Brad sent back an interesting return just based on the way he signed these cards. Some folks don’t sign doubles you send them, and may not even return them. Brad signed the front of one of my doubles and the back of another. I thought that was an interesting choice. My favorite of this lot is the 1990 Fleer because you can see the signature the best on it.
Thanks Mr. Muster! I’m giving this return a 5.5.
