The Story of the Autograph
George Kittle is the star tight end for the San Francisco 49ers. He’s spent his entire career in San Francisco since starting with them in 2017.
Kittle was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Iowa. He went on to play at Iowa from 2012 to 2016. He had a pretty good college career and the 49ers picked him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. His rookie year was fine in the grand scheme of things. He won the starting job out of came against some “just OK” competition and would catch 43 passes for 515 yards and two touchdowns.
The 2018 season however is when Kittle stepped into the spotlight. With a better quarterback Kittle showed of a bit more of what he could do. He’s had 85+ catches each of the last two years with over 1,000 yards each year as well. That includes his career high of 1377 in the 2018 season. He’s reached the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons and was Firt-Team All-Pro in 2019 while helping the 49ers to make the Super Bowl.
There’s big things to come for him given he’s set records for most receiving yards in a regular season (1,377), most receiving yards in a half by a tight end (210), first tight end to lead the league in yards after catch (870), and most receiving yards in first three seasons by a tight end (2,945).

I don’t send much current football out. I don’t send much football out these days anyway, but definitely not current. However, George looked like a pretty consistent signer so I gave it a shot. This one came out pretty good. He’d got a simple-ish signature with only a few “strokes” in it. But he uses a good marker and this cards shows it off pretty well.
