It was a good holiday week even though I didn’t take any time off from work. With a bit of an easy week I was able to take a little time to catch up on some collecting duties. Sorting, resorting, and some general organization.
I of course need to do a whole lot more, but I’m finding myself in a bit of an organizing conundrum. I have some things that need a major reorganization based on purchases from the last few years. I just don’t have anything good to put them in and I have been really lazy about getting something new.
Maybe that’s what Christmas will be for…
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Luis Alicea
- Tuesday: Brad Arnsberg, Buck Martinez
- Wednesday: Gary Sutherland
- Thursday: Ken Berry
- Friday: Bob Patterson
- Saturday: Tom Lawless
- Sunday: Mike Schooler
Last week was a week without a theme to the #twofortuesday. I was moving through the oldest returns I had that I had multiple other returns from in the backlog. Some of these were guys that I had a lot of returns from.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Kunitz-iwa…
- Tuesday: Peters-ed out…
- Tuesday: Was not Wasinger…
- Wednesday: Krieg-erant…
- Thursday: Me and Jake McGee…
- Friday: Mojo-siejenko…
- Saturday: JJ…
- Sunday: Valent-ine’s day…
Again there’s no #twofortuesday theme this week. Still just getting back through the backlog.
Other Notes
After a few sort of down weeks, things got back to business last week. I got 23 returns with no failures! That is a darn good week. I’m not sure what it making these really good and really bad weeks go so up and down lately. Maybe the fall isn’t TTM season.
As for some of the interesting things in the returns. I got back three stragglers right at the top of the week from Tony Zendejas (570 days), Scott Servais (429 days), and Greg Brock (274 days). The Servais return was actually one of two I got back on the same day but the second one was just from this last season.
Those Servais returns are two that came from teams obviously, but I got two others from Bob Erry (Pittsburgh Penguins) and David Murphy (Texas Rangers) to close out the week and month. Other than that there were no paid returns or anything like that.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
