The Story of the Autograph
Tim McIntosh is a former major league player who was primarily a catcher but also played the outfield and first base. He played during five seasons from 1990 to 1996 for the Milwaukee Brewers, Montreal Expos, and New York Yankees. During the 1995 season he played in Japan for the Nippon Ham Fighters.
McIntosh is a native of Minnesota. He went to the University of Minnesota and was drafted from there by the Brewers in the third round of the 1986 MLB Draft. After a few years in the minors he made his major league debut as a September call-up on September 3, 1990.
He never played more than 35 games in any season, the one time he made it into 35 was in 1992 while still with the Brewers. He was mostly a minor league player even when he was getting some time in the majors. Overall for his career he played in 71 games and hit .179 with two homers and ten RBI.
The Score on Tim McIntosh – 6.5
I love a blue marker with Brewers card and Tim didn’t disappoint there. Some of these came out great, with my favorite being the 1990 Fleer card. I think that one had the best place for him to sign. The others are dark (like the 1991 Upper Deck card, although I love the nacho helmet) or busy (like the 1992 Donruss Rookies card).
Thanks Mr. McIntosh! I’m giving this return a 6.5 overall.
