I hope everyone celebrating Christmas had a great day and got a lot of good stuff, especially if it’s cards, under the tree.
I didn’t get any cards from my family and that’s fine… because I bought them myself – LOL! I’m still waiting on one package to arrive and I’m going to guess it comes tomorrow. I’ve got next week off of work so I’ll have a few things to enjoy with the time off.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Randy Kutcher
- Tuesday: Ray Childress, Rocky Childress
- Wednesday: Dave Berg
- Thursday: Rob Bryant
- Friday: Cory Snyder, Purchase: Ryan’s Vintage Cards #3
- Saturday: Mark McLemore
- Sunday: Tom Trebelhorn
Another week of just plugging away through the backlog. But this week I did have a “teach your Childress well” #twofortuesday AND I got another Purchase post out for a not so recent purchase from Ryan’s Vintage Cards… I still have two more I want to do.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Sully…
- Tuesday: Collecting Cardenals…
- Tuesday: Mother May I…
- Wednesday: Vin-dicated…
- Thursday: I don’t mean to Bragg…
- Friday: Buddy the elf…
- Saturday: Butera, Butera…
- Sunday: He Roberge-d a house…
Still on the track of getting the oldest of the backlog out. But I am getting in a Cubs #twofortuesday with what I have on tap.
Other Notes
This was a really great week with 26 returns. I was out for the first couple days of the week so it was nice to come home with a couple of successful days in the back that I got to open all at once. I had three failures and two of them were from the same person – Tom Niedenfuer, who looks like he is charging $15 now.
There were four stragglers and two of them were pretty significant. Mike Munchak returned two attempts at once and both were stragglers. It was the first that was the most significant at 1145 days, sent back in 2019. The other was a ONLY a year at 366 days. The other really significant one was Oddibe McDowell at 758 days. The last was 231 days from Mark Tinordi.
