The Story of the Autograph
Matt Merullo is a former catcher in the major leagues. He played for the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, and Minnesota Twins over six seasons from 1989 to 1995.
Merullo was born and raised in Massachusetts and then went to college at North Carolina to play for the Tar Heels. He was drafted by the White Sox in the seventh round of the 1986 MLB Draft. He made his debut three years later on April 12, 1989.
He played 31 games during his first season in 1989 but then went back down to the minors and wouldn’t be back to the majors until 1991. He played the most games of his career that year with 80 games. His played time kept reducing in Chicago and he would move on to the Indians via trade.
His best season might have been his last. After moving to Minnesota as a free agent he played 76 games with a .282 average with one homer and 27 RBI. His after was 50 points higher than his career average that season.

These came out pretty well from Matt. IT looks like he signed in the best spot possible on these cards. And that’s pretty touch because those dark chest protectors really can get in the way.
