The Story of the Autograph
Tony Dumas is a former shooting guard in the NBA. He played from 1994 to 1998 with the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, and Cleveland Cavaliers. He then played through 2001 overseas, in Greece and Italy, as well as in the CBA.
Dumas was born in Chicago and raised in Tennessee. In college he played at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He would end up being the all-time leading scorer in Roos history and seventh in the NCAA in scoring his senior season. The Mavericks drafted him with the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 1994 NBA Draft, making him the only player to be drafted into the NBA from UMKC.
He got his best shot in his first two seasons in Dallas, playing in 58 games his first year and 67 games his second, with 12 starts. Overall he would play during five seasons and have 7.3 points per game, 1.3 rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game. He retired from the NBA after his time in Cleveland and then played outside the NBA.
The Score on Tony Dumas – 6.5
Tony uses ALL THE CARD! He really doesn’t care what he is writing over – like his face. I don’t know if I like the red on these, but it certainly helps it stick out. But the red doesn’t really go well with all the other colors on the cards.
Thanks Mr. Dumas! I’m giving this a 6.5.
