The Story of the Autograph
Todd Krygier is a former left winger in the NHL. He played from 1989 to 1998 with the Hartford Whalers, Washington Capitals (twice), and Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
Krygier is a native of Illinois. He went to college at the University of Connecticut then he was selected by the Hartford Whalers in the 1988 NHL Draft. In his first two seasons he played most of the season with Hartford before being traded to the Capital for his first stint in Washington, DC.
He spent the next three seasons in DC before being traded to Anahiem. He spent a season and a half before being moved back to the Capital in the middle of the 1995-’96 season. That was in the middle of his best season when he had career highs in goals (15), assists (33) and points (48) that year. He finished his career out in 1998.
His kids all play sports including his sons who were both drafted in 2018, five picks apart.
The Score on Todd Krygier – 6.0
Todd has what might be the smallest hockey signature I’ve seen. He used a thicker marker so there’s a little less definition to it with it being small. But the cards are just have really busy images so it doesn’t show off the signature well on these. The blue marker does go well witht he Harford colors.
Thanks Mr. Krygier! I’m giving this return a 6.
