The Story of the Autograph
Storm Davis is a right-handed pitcher who worked mostly as a starter during his time in the majors. The two-time World Series winner played from 1982 to 1994 with the Baltimore Orioles (twice), San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics (twice), Kansas City Royals, and Detroit Tigers.

Storm has a pretty good signature and I think this is another good example of the repetition and symmetry that a signature can have to make it look good. I know they are really completely different letters, but the “S” and the “D” go well together. It’s almost like the bottom of the “D” can have the same sort of loop that the bottom of the “S” has. I think my favorite of these is the 1990 Fleer.
