The Story of the Autograph
Steve Trout is a former left-handed starting pitcher in the major leagues. Nicknamed “Rainbow” and the son of former major leaguer Dizzy Trout, he played from 1978 to 1989 with the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners.

The Score on Steve Trout – 6.5
Steve has a pretty small and compact signature. It’s like he tries to fit it into a little square or something. My favorite of these is the 1982 Topps card where he included his nickname in the facsimile signature. I showed that to my daughter and she got a kick out of his nickname.
