The Story of the Autograph
Skip Lockwood is a former right-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He played as both a starter and a reliever throughout a twelve year career. During that time he played for the Seattle Pilots, Milwaukee Brewers, California Angels, New York Mets, and Boston Red Sox.
This is my second successful return from him. To find out more about him and to see the first successful return, check out my post from March 2020.
The Score on Skip Lockwood – 6.0
These two from Skip almost look like two different markers but they aren’t. It just give you a little insight on how sometimes these old cards show the markers a little differently based on their wear. The 1977 card overall looks fine but there’s a little fade to it in person. The 1975 card looks a lot better, but he sort of signed over a busy spot on the card. I do like how it almost looks like there’s a heart in his signature.
Thanks Mr. Lockwood! I’m giving this return a 6 overall.
