The Story of the Autograph
Sam Militello is a former right-handed pitcher in the major leagues. The starter made appearances for the New York Yankees in 1992 and 1993.
Militello is a native of Tampa, Florida. He attended the University of Tampa. The Yankees selected him in the sixth round of the 1990 MLB Draft. He played well in the minors and was the Pitcher of the Year in the Carolina League in 1991 with a 12-2 record and 1.22 ERA with 112 strikeouts in 103 innings. That earned him a callup the following year and he made his major league debut on August 9, 1992. This was as he was name the International League Most Valuable Player that year.
He went 3-3 with a 3.45 ERA with in nine starts that first season. He earned more appearances the following season but only got into three games with two starts. He went 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA. He played his final major league game on April 22, 1993.
These days he coaches his alma mater. Prior to that he coached in the minor leagues with the Indians organization.

Sam seems like he gives you an “S” and then most of his last name. Sometimes you might see his whole first name. These came out pretty well though. These are some great cards to show off the signature two, because he has those white pinstripes uniforms on in these cards.
