The Story of the Autograph
Rick Cerone played for a lot of teams, but I think I always will remember him as a Yankee. He played in three different stints with them. I remember him mostly as a back-up catcher but I think that was more later in his career. He was the catcher who replaced Thurman Munson with the Yankees and he had a really good season that first year, helping the Yankees with the AL East.
The Score on Rick Cerone – 6
I really like Rick’s signature. I think what hurts the score in my opinion is that he always signs the cards up and down. But he always uses a good clean marker and signs really well. I have a lot of his cards, but he always just signs one at a time.
I’m giving this one a solid 6.
