This was a bit of a long week. Work was pretty crazy as there’s a big project going on. But I will say it beat last week because at least I didn’t have to go into the office this week. I had to go in one day last week and it was honestly one of the most tiring things I’ve had to do.
I had to go through the commute, the interruptions from people that are there, the feeling of doing things and being at work but not actually getting anything done. It felt like a mess when I came home and then of course the second I got home it was “I’m ready to be picked up from school!” I never remembered being that tired, but how did I do that every day before?
Then this week my wife had to work yesterday and had a hell of a time with a food truck not showing up at an event and all the stress of doing fundraising events like she does. Looking forward to having a easier week… fingers crossed.
Hope you had a good week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Jeff Fassero
- Tuesday: Jay Bell, Lyle Overbay
- Wednesday: Dan Majerle
- Thursday: Jake Barrett
- Friday: Tom Tupa
- Saturday: Shelby Miller, Brandon Webb
- Sunday: Josh Collmenter
This week was #bythetimeigettoarizona week and we looked back on some Arizona teams. So that means the Diamondbacks, Suns and Cardinals. I got all of them in, but mostly Diamondbacks. There was eve a bit of a bonus thrown in on Saturday.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Sisk-em of a Down…
- Tuesday: Just your average Joe…
- Tuesday: Double L…
- Wednesday: Another average Joe…
- Thursday: Ain’t no Monteleone high enough…
- Friday: My Bonnie lies over the ocean…
- Saturday: Datt one right there…
- Sunday: After a good workout, my body feels Sorenstam…
So not real theme for the whole week, but I am trying to set up for a Cubs-themed #twofortuesday. Then I’m planning for a “Womens Weekend” series of posts to close it out. I realized that had some cards of women on the horizon and thought I would put them all together.
Other Notes
This week was a bit odd. As always the mail seems to be a bit fishy. I am just missing envelopes all over the place according to Informed Delivery. I know I have that to keep track of things but they only show for a week and I do go back and mark things an undelivered. This week also saw me not actually have mail delivered or picked up for two days. I hate it when that happens.
But the next days made up for it and my good streak of weekly return numbers kept up. I got 22 back this week. There were some pretty quick turnarounds in there but some of my favorites that stuck out were: Ken Singleton, Adonal Foyle, Von Hayes, Kevin McReynolds, Otis Sistrunk, Bob Tewksbury, Lynn Jones and Charlie Hough.
Have a great week!
