Man, I was waiting for this holiday weekend all week. I actually woke up on Friday morning thinking it was Saturday morning. Talk about your Rude awakenings…
We are definitely headed for the best run of holiday months at work. We do two timesheets monthly and if you look at the holidays lining up we are heading towards almost every other timesheet having a holiday in it, at least the way where I work has it’s holidays. Then there will be some times where the happen one after the other.
- First half of September (Labor Day)
- First half of October (Indigenous Peoples Day)
- First half of November (Veterans Day)
- Second half of November (Thanksgiving)
- Second half of December (Christmas)
- First half of January (New Years Day)
- Second half of January (MLK Day)
- Second half of February (Presidents Day)
Definitely a good run to look forward to. It helps you from feeling so desperate for a day like I was this week.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Jerry Ujdur
- Tuesday: Davey Johnson, Terry Jorgensen
- Wednesday: Jim Adduci
- Thursday: William Perry
- Friday: Greg Ostertag
- Saturday: Duane Ferrell
- Sunday: Gerld Williams
There wasn’t a themed #twofortuesday this week. But it was a pretty eclecitic week. As always it was mostly baseball. But there were two football posts and two basketball posts as well.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Tackett up on the board…
- Tuesday: Ken I kick it…
- Tuesday: Dave’s not here…
- Wednesday: Long day…
- Thursday: By George…
- Friday: Landrum ho…
- Saturday: What the Kjell…
- Sunday: Burt and Ernie…
It will be another week with no #twofortuesday theme. It won’t be as eclectic of a week as it was last week, but you will see some hockey.
Other Notes
Back to a good week! This week I had 21 things come back with 20 of those as successes. The failure was a bit odd. I got a something back from Dave Christian but they weren’t signed, there was no notes, etc. So I don’t know if he doesn’t sign, if its not the right address, or if he charges. This might be the second time I’ve tried with that result.
Other than that, what I usually find interesting are the stragglers, things back from teams, and paid returns. I got back two stragglers. One was from Greg Brock at 261 days with only one card signed (I am not sure how many I sent for this one for some reason, but it was more than one). The other was from Steve Buechele after 206 days. Buechele was a return back from the Rangers. I also got team returns from Ricky Horton (Cardinals), Mariano Duncan (Binghamton Rumble Ponies), and Dann Bilardello (Rocket City Trash Pandas). Bilardello only signed three. There was a fourth signed but it was not his name and it was signed on the back.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
